This software collection provides a number of new features and improvements and adds live streaming for persistent connections. This Software Collection is supported together with the ruby200 collection.

Instructions

You can get started in three easy steps:

# 1. Install a package with repository for your system:
# On CentOS, install package centos-release-scl available in CentOS repository:
$ sudo yum install centos-release-scl

# On RHEL, enable RHSCL repository for you system:
$ sudo yum-config-manager --enable rhel-server-rhscl-7-rpms

# 2. Install the collection:
$ sudo yum install ror40

# 3. Start using software collections:
$ scl enable ror40 bash

At this point you should be able to use rails just as a normal application. Examples of commands run might be:

$ rails new project
$ cd project
$ rails server -p 8080
$ rails generate controller pages

In order to view the individual components included in this collection, you can run:

$ sudo yum list ror40\*
